After you use up all of the icicles, you’ll have to hit him to death using your regular weapons. It will also stun him for a good period of time, so use this to your advantage by either healing, attacking Ull, or dealing with any enemies around you. Then, just run right past him, throw a weapon or use an arrow at the icicle, and it will come down and hit him. What you want to do exactly is stand under one of the icicles by looking for a puddle of water on the ground (you can use Hunter’s vision for help if you need it) and then baiting Ull into coming to attack you there. Essentially, you can only deal meaningful damage to Ull this way as your regular attacks deal very little damage to him.
There are four in the area around Ull, one of which he and his goons stand under at the very beginning (so take that out immediately) and around two more around those areas. Okay so this is how the fight against Ull goes: as you can see, there are icicles in this general area. Right after, there will be plenty of weapons on the ground before the fight against Ull, so take them if you don’t have any. This is important later on, so remember this. If you shoot those icicles, you’ll deal a ton of damage to the Udam. You’ll come across a single Udam sitting under some icicles. Once they’re all dead, continue down the path following those yellow markers. In the second area, there will be a lot more, so just deal with them like normal. Once you enter the cave, there will be some Udam in the first area, so just deal with them and then continue following the yellow markers. Yay! As you’re nearing his cave, there will be an increase in Udam enemies, so watch out for them. Once you’ve captured it, your next objective will be to reach Ull’s cave, which is following more yellow markers. There aren’t many enemies either, but if you feel like nothing is happening after killing all the enemies, check the large mountain as there is an alert Udam hiding up there. As with any other bonfire, just kill all the enemies and light the bonfire, it’s a pretty simple step for this mission. Head towards the final yellow marker and you’ll get to the Udam bonfire. After triggering two yellow markers, you’ll then have an actual objective of finding the Udam bonfire and claiming it for the Wenja. There are Udam enemies along the way but you can ignore them if you want if you are riding on an animal. Once you’re out of the caves, follow the yellow marker on the minimap. You’ll arrive in Sayla’s hut and she’ll talk with you a little bit.Once you’ve done that, be sure to head up to the outpost, eat the antidote meat before going into the poison cave, and head on through it. Once you leave, you’ll be forced back to the village while completing the quest. Once you’ve done that, continue along the path and you’ll eventually find the exit. There will be a few more in the area behind them where we’ll go, but they’re all very easy to deal with. You’ll then come across some Udam enemies crossing a bridge. Once they’re dead, continue along the path. As a tip, you can use the small area you came into this area from as an area to herd the enemies, they will come practically one at a time. In the last cave, you’ll have to kill the cave guardian and a bunch of Udam. Again, just defeat them and then keep going. You’ll come along another cave, this time with around seven Udam. Eventually you’ll come across a large cave with around six Udam inside. Pick up our gear afterwards and follow the red footprints in hunter’s vision.
Then grapple over the cell and walk along the path, taking down the Udam guarding our gear. Look behind you and follow the path while picking up the grappling hook at the end of it near the dead body.
Once we’re back in Takkar’s body, we’ll need to get out of this cage. Ull will tell you afterwards that he will feed you to the Udam and then kill the rest of the softbloods. Once you try and pick them, you’ll be captured by the Udam. Before you leave, however, it’s highly recommended that you do Karoosh the Warrior’s specialist mission so that you can craft gear that protects against the cold. The leaves will be grouped up behind some rocks. In any case, once you leave the hut, you can fast travel to Yagi Arrow Bonfire if you have it unlocked to get there as fast as you can.
